UCI Plaza Verde II (UCI Phase IV-B) is a 385,370-square-foot student housing complex that consists of four 5-story, Type III over Type I buildings. The project features 295 apartment-style units, providing 1,072 beds for continuing undergraduate and transfer students. Apartments are studio, one-, two-, and four-bedroom single and double occupancy suites with central kitchens and shared bathrooms. Each building includes a central area with a lobby, social lounge, study room, laundry facility, bike storage, fifth-floor lounge/gathering space, and communal courtyards. The project is targeting LEED Gold certification.

The project is part of UCI’s multi-phase East Campus development and continues the expansion of Phase IV, which included the recently completed Plaza Verde community (Phase IV-A). Phase IV-B utilizes the infrastructure, parking structure, and community amenities in Plaza Verde.
