Morley Construction Company provided concrete subcontracting services for Radian Apartments, a 22-story residential high-rise tower featuring 241 luxury units located in the East Village neighborhood of Downtown San Diego. The 387,160-square-foot, Type I project includes a 36,000-square-foot Target retail store on the ground and below-grade levels, five stories of above-grade parking, and amenities including business center, fitness center, lounges, event space, dog park, and rooftop pool. The project includes the preservation of an existing-to-remain-in-place historic façade, the Farkas Store Fixture Building, built in 1932.

Morley’s structural concrete scope of work consisted of 22,543 total cubic yards of concrete including a mat foundation, below-grade perimeter walls, cast-in-place decks, cast-in-place columns, and walls.
