Morley Construction Company provided concrete subcontracting services for this seven-story cast-in-place resort featuring 126 timeshares and 32 hotel rooms. The project includes two subterranean levels of parking for 242 cars, a pool, and ground-floor restaurant and retail space. 22,644 cubic yards of concrete was used to complete the project. Crews placed 8,800 cubic yards in two shifts to complete the mat foundation, which was placed on weekends to minimize impact to local businesses and traffic. Morley perfected the use of a hybrid deck forming system utilizing perimeter mini tables and handset post-shore interiors, which is now seen on projects throughout Southern California.
