Morley Builders provided general contracting services for two phases of the Fountain Park Apartments at Playa Vista – the first residential project in the Playa Vista community. Phase I included 705 units and 12,000 square feet of retail space over a 1.5-level subterranean cast-in-place parking garage with space for 1,448 cars. Phase II included 296 units. In total, the nine-acre residential site consists of five, Type V residential buildings with amenities including multiple pools, a two-story recreation center, and office space. The project was designed and constructed in accordance with Playa Vista’s high level of sustainability guidelines, and is 28% more energy efficient than California’s Title 24 standards.
