The Los Angeles Business Council Architectural Awards celebrates projects that embrace innovative design standards to enhance the way we live in Los Angeles. It recognizes teams of architects, contractors, owners, and developers for setting new standards of design excellence.
We are honored to have two of our projects recognized as award recipients by the Los Angeles Business Council! 10 West Pasadena won the Workplace category and 800 | 900 Culver Pointe won the Renovated Projects category. Congratulations to the teams who contributed to the success of these projects, including SOM, Kendall/Heaton Associates, Inc., and Lincoln Property Company (10 West Pasadena) and Northwood Investors LLC and RIOS (800 | 900 Culver Pointe).
The 10 West Pasadena project is a five-story, Class A office space designed to promote community interaction and sustainability. Spanning 233,000 square feet, it features a brick frame with large windows that enhance both aesthetics and energy efficiency. The building includes ground-floor restaurant spaces and three levels of subterranean parking, offering 1,119 parking spaces. Its open concrete interiors, high ceilings, and operable windows maximize natural light and provide views of the San Gabriel Mountains. The design prioritizes energy savings with efficient systems and glass facades that minimize solar heat gain. Achieving LEED Gold certification, 10 West Pasadena exemplifies a modern, sustainable approach to urban office design.
800 | 900 Culver Pointe is a 64,251-square-foot office campus in Culver City, featuring a blend of interior and exterior renovations designed to promote creativity and collaboration. The 15,100-square-foot interior upgrades included a refreshed lobby, enhanced common spaces, and modernized restrooms, along with the addition of a 1,000-square-foot glass atrium. The project also introduced a new 2,000-square-foot café and a fitness center to improve on-site amenities. Exterior enhancements revitalized the façade, courtyard, and landscaping, transforming the campus into a lush, garden-like setting. With adaptable outdoor spaces and natural gathering areas, 800 | 900 Culver Pointe fosters a flexible, community-driven work environment, ideal for the evolving needs of modern businesses in the heart of Culver City’s growing tech and creative scene.
